crocs - you gotta try em on!
Although at first glance you may think they are just "fun" shoes the applications for them are immense. They were designed as a clog but they weigh ounces, they are non-slip and have various medical reasons for use. They greatly reduce the stress on lower limbs, feet and knees and absorb much of the shock when walking. They increase stability and significantly reduce the stress of standing for long periods of time. They can be sterilized, washed and bleached; they are anti-bacterial, odour resistant and have moulded foot support and keep the feet cool comfortable.

The Beach was the original and extremely successful 'Crocs' their successor 'Cayman' are individually sized from children's 8/9 up to adults 13. The footbed is slightly narrower with softer circulation nubs. See from the sizing charts above the differences.
The Fit of 'Crocs' - Unlike any other shoe!
They should be loose; the sides of the foot should not touch the sides of the shoe. Once the foot is centred in the footbed there should be a space of about ¼ - ½ an inch behind the heel and toe, the shoe should feel 'loose' a finger should be easily go between the strap and heel. It may feel strange at first but these are the parameters under which the shoe was designed.
Never - ever any pressure points
Pull the strap forward rest the foot comfortably in the footbed make sure you have room all around the foot - you then have the correct size. If you feel the strap is to short gently stretch it as you go around being careful not to use excessive pressure on the rivet, stretch until the strap is just short of the back edge of the shoe - the resin material has memory and will stay the proper length after adjustment.
